Message From the 1st Vice President

It has been an incredibly busy two months since convention.  The members asked the Grand Lodge to pursue joining the IMembersdb at convention and I am happy to say we have done that.  Thanks to a lot of hard work by Anna Graeber and me beating up the rep a little bit we are online. Not all the lodges are yet up as there is some database massaging that has to be done to import the rest but they are hard at work doing that.  We have arranged for 3 contact points for help with the software as well as the Zoom training that IMembersdb is providing.  Contact points are Anna Graeber, Marlene Romanazzi and Myself.  If you have questions or concerns please contact whoever you are most comfortable with and we will try to get you answers as fast as possible if we don't already know.

I also attended my first in person National Convention in Tampa Florida. It was very interesting to see how the National handles convention compared to California. I met a number of delegates from different states and was invited to come and see the State conventions which intrigues me and I will try and see a few over the next year.  The youth we sent to represent California represented us extremely well. I tried to keep our Orator up past 10 oclock PM all week but was thwarted at every turn. We were invited to the Tampa lodge's home for dinner and Karaoke on Friday night.  Seeing the youth and our different state representatives was quite entertaining and I have videos that will be posted online when the Grand Lodge is completely online. Met and had a great conversation with our new National President and his father who is an unbelievable story teller. Told his dad we might just have to put him onstage at our convention for entertainment one night. There was so much going on all week that I wont post it all here and bore everyone but if you are interest just ask and I will be glad to share.

To all of our Delegates and Grand Lodge Officers thank you for electing me National Delegate as it was a great learning opportunity and I look forward to learning more from the other states.
