Message From the State President

I am still in aww of my Grand Council and all the Delegates that attended our 85th Convention.

Ordinarily, our editor, Andy Pampuro, would write his synopsis of our Convention to go with the pictures he took. This year he was unable to do that, so Arlene Nunziati took all of the pictures, and I was drafted to do the synopsis. Thank you Arlene. I hope we did the Convention justice.

I want to thank all the Officers, Committee Chairs, Past Presidents, Lodge Presidents, Delegates and Guests that attended and contributed to a wonderful time for all. Business was taken care of and a Lynn Lawrence Murphy, our Convention Chair and Lori Rossi, our Recording Secretary made sure that everything ran smoothly, and a great time was had by all.

I must comment on the Theme Night “Take me out to the ballgame!” I haven’t had that much fun in a long time. The singing by our own delegates and Officers was amazing. A special thanks to Frankie DiSalvo, Dolly Sinatra Lodge, Lee Sparks, Vergilio Lodge, and Louie Lodi, Grand Lodge Third Vice President. You gentleman made the difference. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Addy Walker, Dolly Sinatra Lodge. Your marching and singing brought us together in a special way. Thanks, Ray Bini, for the “Rookie of the Year 2022” trophy. It is in a place of honor in my office!

So many things happened at Convention, and some is a blur! I am looking forward to getting the minutes from our Recording Secretary, Lori Rossi, so I can have it all straight in my mind.

I can’t end this message without speaking about our National President, Robert Bianchi, Esq. His Dad and mine were the best of friends. We share many stories of things that happened with them. Bob inspired our Delegates to feel that love of the Order again. His love of the Order is contagious. Thank you, National President Robert for attending our Convention and sharing your vision. Our Grand Lodge of California will be behind you.

Thank you, all, who helped to make this 85th Convention one to remember.

Till next month Fraternally Barbara
