Profifiles in Grandure

On December 6, 2023, the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles celebrated “A Century of Grandeur”. 100 years in existence from 1923 to 2023. Constance Furnare called them and wished them a “Happy Birthday” and told them that she also celebrated 100 years. She also told them that she had lunch at the Biltmore in 1946. The executives invited her to attend their fantastic event. Constance Furnare (aka - Connie) was their honored guest escorted by her daughter, Janet, and sonin-law Bruce Hertzing. Connie was very excited to join them for this special gala. Mr. Jimmy Wee, Biltmore’s Executive comped them with two beautiful suites for two nights plus meals. There was an orchestra, entertainment, and dancing for all the festivities with cocktails and dinner. On arrival, she was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The Biltmore Hotel Executives were thrilled to have Constance as their honored guest. Many pictures were taken during the entire evening in her honor. She certainly received the “RED CARPET” treatment. The smiles on her face tells the whole story for being made the Queen for the entire evening and treated like royalty.

Connie wrote: “After speeches and entertainment was over, I was lead on stage to say a few words. Applause rang out as I left the stage and was bombbarded with people wanting pictures with me”. Connie stated, “It was the most exquisite place you could go to. There was no other place like it. It was so wonderful to be part of the Grandeur of the Historic event, a moment in my life I’ll never forget.”

The Board of Directors and members of our lodge are very happy that you were able to spend an evening of fun with the Biltmore Executives to celebrate 100 years together.
