The Sacramento Lodge has been busy these past few months. In February we had a delizioso (delicious) dinner with Ravioli, Italian Sausage, Garlic Bread, and Green Salad prepared by Bob Cesario, Mike Rose, and Robert Vivenzi. And then for dessert, Denise Esposto-Hunt’s prepared red velvet cupcakes which were gustoso (tasty)! After the meeting we played a Valentine theme Trivia game; congratulations to the winning team: Gloria Giusti, Norm Giusti, Denise Esposito-Hunt, Pam Marinelli, Jennifer Noble, and Mary Webster with 16 out of 25 correct answers!
In March we were honored to have State President Arlene Nunziati with us and enjoyed a traditional St. Partrick’s Day dinner with Corned Beef, Cabbage, Carrots, Potatoes, Beets, Green Salad, and homemade Soda Bread and Mint Brownies for dessert! Special thanks to Donna Sawyer and Danny Marinelli for preparing this sorprendente (amazing) dinner. During our meeting we recognized Pam Tedesco with 50 years of membership and John Tedesco with 53 years of membership. We ended the evening playing several games of Bingo. Congratulations to our lucky Bingo winners: Dick Hunt, Jennifer Noble, Valerie Rose, Pam Marinelli, Denise Esposito-Hunt, Mary Webster, and John Tedesco.
April’s dinner of Spaghetti and Meatballs with Italian Sausage, Caesar Salad, Strawberry Salad, and Garlic Rolls was prepared by Danny Marinelli and Louie Lodi, and was enjoyed by tutti (everyone)! Dessert was squisito (exquisite), Cannoli made by Louie Lodi! We were honored to have National Trustee and Immediate Past State President Barbara Wisniewski as a guest and finished the evening with a fun raffle.
