In Loving Memory:
It is with a sad heart that I start this article from the Anaheim Lodge. On Monday May 16th Carol D’Ordine, the wife of Joseph D’Ordine passed away. She had been in the Rehab Center for about a month. Carol was scheduled to go home on Monday with a Home Health Care person.
Carol was a long time member of the Anaheim Lodge, and was Mistress of Ceremonies. She loved playing Cards and Bingo. Carol was very active in the lodge. We are all shocked and very sadden with the sudden passing of our beloved member. Rest in Peace Dear Carol.
Sunday May 15th the Anaheim Lodge #2076 celebrated our 64th Anniversary. We honored Dora Vorono who has been a member for over 30 years and has held various positions. Doro has been a Trustee, Delegate
The Joanne Coccia Lodge #2553 was happy to have our State Grand Lodge President, Barbara Wisniewski, spend several days with us on May 14, 2022 and May 15, 2022. She was such a gracious lady and State Grand President the entire time she spent with us.
On May 14th, we treated her to a wonderful Italian dinner at a new Italian Restaurant known as Mazzulli’s Italian Kitchen. There
We always welcome visitors to our Lodge, from Lodges all over the country. It’s an honor to have them visit, and when you receive a thank you, as wonderful as the following one, it brings home the message of just how fortunate we are here at our Lodge! Our entertainment is spectacular, as the thank you says! And the regular entertainers bring special, very talented guests occasionally, and I would like to illustrate with three recent nights at our Lodge, which illustrates just how SPECTACULAR we do have things here at Dolly Sinatra Lodge!! But first the thank you email Lori Harvey received recently…
Thank you so much for including us in your weekly dinner. I’m sure it will be the highlight of our trip but please don’t tell the bride & groom whose wedding we are attending! The
In Loving Memory: It is with a sad heart that I start this article from the Anaheim Lodge. On Saturday April 17, 2022 Josephine Zannitto passed away peacefully with no illnesses, she now has gone to be with her husband Ralph. Josie was our oldest member at 100 years and 5 months. She has been a member of the Anaheim Lodge since 1971. Josie was very active in her younger days with our Anaheim Bowling League. But she still enjoyed coming to our Casino Nights and Bingo, right up to the end. Josie you will be missed, your personality was always pleasant and you were a friend to everyone.
On Saturday April 2, 2022, the Anaheim Lodge #2076 crowned their new lodge queen Natalie Lavezzari. The event was held at the Women’s Civic Club in Garden Grove. The Anaheim Lodge is proud
The winter has not kept Saddleback Lodge from having fun! Our annual Carnevale provided a wonderful time for us to get together and prepare for Lent. Most came in beautiful, creative costumes.
The event was greeted with enthusiasm although it was mainly for Saddleback members and not the general public for financial reasons. Thanks to all who helped put this together, especially Bernie and Kerry for the decorations. We served Lasagna and a chicken pasta dish from Claro’s. We hope to go back to our normal level of partying next year. That was
To state the obvious, it’s been a weird couple of years, and obviously the hope is that with a waning pandemic, some semblance of normal is going to arrive! At the very least we will learn to live with conditions, whatever is thrown at us, and we will be able to embrace the things we enjoy and enjoy doing. And one of those is our Lodge, and the friends we’ve acquired there, the incredible entertainers who bring their talents weekly, and certainly the volunteers who hold the Lodge together. Let’s acknowledge,
