OSIACA News
As my first official message as State President, it has been a very busy two weeks. My first official function will be attending the Watsonville picnic with our Immediate Past President, Arlene Nunziati, a quick network upgrade for the Pignati’s and then a stop at the bank to transfer the signers on the accounts. Then to the Grand Lodge office to conduct signing duties and home on Tuesday. After this ‘slow week’ I will begin preparing for the National Convention in Orlando Florida which I look forward to sharing our experiences and results in the September issue of the Il Leone.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all the delegates and officers for electing me State President. It was a very emotional experience for me as I was able to keep a promise I made to my father many years ago. I was overwhelmed by the amount of support people offered by volunteering to help. Taking a job of this magnitude requires support from many people and it is with a profound gratitude I get to say I have that. Between my family, my Lodge, our State Officers, past and present, I know I have the help I need to get the job done.
Thank you to those who completed the questionnaire as the responses have been compiled and the State Officers and I look forward to reviewing and sharing the results in the Il Leone soon.
Lastly, I want to thank my Lodge President Annette Porter and the Centinela Valley Lodge for doing such an unbelievable job as host lodge for this Convention.
I look forward to providing future updates as my role unfolds as your State President.
