This article from Cesare Batisti Lodge #1518 is dedicated to Louise Vicino. In the January issue of of the Il Leone, Louise “retired” due to her health issues. She must have had a premonition of the future as Louise has now been reunited with her beloved Louis. The members of our Lodge found her articles chock full of very useful information which we will be eternally grateful. Rest In Peace Louise. Diane Gizzi Contributing member.
With the passing of our beloved Louise Vicino, we are trying to fill in the large gap she left us with. She passed December 28th, four days before her 92nd birthday January 1st. We will not fill her shoes because that is impossible. Myself and others can only write this article for her.
Even during these trying times when we are not able to get together for meetings, we still stay in touch. Surprisingly we were able to welcome 6 new members to our lodge and a couple of re-reinstatements. This makes me very happy to see our lodge growing...
Cesare Battisti Lodge is looking forward to a new meeting place in the future when the CDC will allow us to gather again. We decided on the second Sunday of each month at 2PM in the afternoon, Social hour with a short meeting at 3PM followed by an typically Italian early Sunday dinner. As usual, hors d’ouvres, dinner, wine, beer and sodas, dessert all included. This afternoon time will be more convient for those who would rather not drive at night. The location is Rancho Grande, 5099 Snyder, Rohnert Park, CA 94928. For more information contact me email@example.com
